Coconuts!

We wrote about Coconuts this week.

We looked carefully at the outside of the coconuts.  We drilled holes in the coconuts and drank the milk from inside.  Miss Thomas smashed the coconut with a hammer.  We ate the delicious flesh.  Yum!

We used lots of describing words in our writing.

Prayer

We are thinking about Prayer for RE.

We know that prayer is talking and listening to God - Te Atua.

We had a look at some pictures of different ways that people pray.

We moved our bodies to match the people in the pictures.
